Birthdays and Celebrations
Birthdays
Food allergies are increasingly common. Therefore, if you wish to bring a small treat to celebrate your child’s birthday, you may send in a non-food item (pencils, stickers, erasers, bookmarks, etc.). This will allow all students in the class to participate in the celebration while keeping all students safe.
If your child is inviting classmates to his/her birthday party, please do not have your child distribute invitations at school.
Classroom Parties
We welcome parent involvement in organizing class parties. Parents are requested to work with classroom teachers and room parents regarding possible food allergies when bringing food items in for classroom parties.
